About us

 The Blóðravn Kindred is a North American universalist Ásatrú organization committed to the community, education, and growth of Ásatrú in North America. We welcome all who seek to honor the ancient customs of the north in the 21st century. We currently inhabit the states of Louisiana, Kansas, and Missouri.

The members of the first High Council of the Blóðravn Kindred on this 14th day of November, 2022, affirm Oath 127.

We, of the Blóðravn Kindred, do solemnly and sincerely promise and swear, in the presence of the gods and spirits, that we will not exclude membership of this kindred to anyone based on race, gender, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation or identity, education, or national origin. Furthermore, we swear that we will protect any member of the kindred from being attacked, mistreated, or intimidated for falling under any of the previous distinguishing characteristics or traits. 

This oath is centered around Hávamál 127 and reflects the Kindred's stance on Universalist Ásatrú practice and our belief that anyone who feels a calling from the gods and spirits should be able to and can worship them.
